Jack David Harrison (born 20 November 1996) is an English professional footballer, currently playing as a winger for Premier League club Everton on loan from EFL Championship club Leeds United LINK IN 8xbet
Harrison moved to the United States as a teenager after playing football at the academies of both Liverpool and Manchester United. His impressive performances for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons led to him being selected as the No. 1 player in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft by New York City FC and rated the second best player in MLS under 24 the same year. In 2018, he signed a contract with Premier League club Manchester City. Childhood
Harrison was born in Stoke-on-Trent and grew up in Bolton, Greater Manchester, where he attended Harwood Meadows Primary School and then Turton High School. Harrison had a short spell at the Liverpool academy when he was just seven years old but eventually chose to attend the Manchester United academy, where he spent seven years.
At the age of 14, Jack decided to leave the Manchester United academy to study at Berkshire School in Sheffield, Massachusetts, while also representing the school's affiliated football team, Black Rock FC. In 2015, Harrison was named Gatorade National Player of the Year for high school football. Harrison is one of four foreign players who moved to the US for high school and won the Gatorade National Player of the Year award in the men's category, all since 2012.

Harrison signed a National Letter of Commitment to play college football for Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. During the 2015 NCAA Division I men's soccer season, he made 22 appearances with Wake Forest, scoring 8 goals and assisting 11 times.
Harrison is a versatile left-footed attacker who plays as a winger, mainly on the left wing, but can also play on the right wing. He can also play as an attacking midfielder. He is known for his speed, dribbling ability and competitive spirit. New York City
He signed with New York City in a deal involving young player agent Jono Simpson. In December 2015, it was reported that New York City were trying to acquire Harrison as a local player because he had played for Manhattan Soccer Club, an affiliate of the club, for the previous three years, allowing them to sign him before entering the draft. However, this request was denied by MLS and Harrison entered the 2016 MLS SuperDraft as the youngest available player. On January 14, 2016, he was selected as the No. 1 player in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft by the Chicago Fire and was traded to New York City for the fourth overall pick, Brandon Vincent, plus compensation. Shortly after the draft, it was discovered that Harrison had suffered a broken pelvis, sidelining him for the first three months of his career in New York City.
Harrison made his professional debut on 21 May 2016 when he came off the bench in the 57th minute for Thomas McNamara in a 7–0 loss to the New York Red Bulls at Yankee Stadium. Harrison's individual performance was described as a "bright spot" for his team. Harrison became the first teenager to score for the club when he scored his first professional goal on his senior debut against Real Salt Lake at Yankee Stadium on 2 June. On 3 July, Harrison opened the scoring in the Hudson River Derby with a man-of-the-match performance, helping New York City to their first win over the Red Bulls. At the end of the season, Harrison was nominated for, but ultimately did not win, the MLS Rookie of the Year award, which went to Jordan Morris of Seattle Sounders FC. In March 2017, Harrison and NYCFC teammates Eirik Johansen and Rónald Matarrita received their United States green cards. Harrison scored his first goal of the new season on April 1, in a 2–1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes. On April 29, he scored more than one goal for the first time in his professional career, scoring twice to help his team win 3–2 against Columbus Crew. Harrison also scored the opening goal, the winning goal, in a 2–0 win over New York Red Bulls to help the club to their first win at Red Bull Arena on 24 June. Manchester City
On 30 January 2018, Harrison signed for Manchester City, a partner club of his former club New York City, part of the City Football Group, on a contract that runs until the end of the 2020–21 season. Following Harrison's initial loan spell at Leeds United, he returned to Manchester City. Leeds are keen to sign Harrison to an official contract; however, it was reported that his parent club valued him at £20 million. On 1 July 2019, Harrison agreed a one-year contract extension with Manchester City. On 27 June 2019, it was reported that Harrison was in talks with Leeds United to sign on loan for another season. City once again loaned Harrison to Leeds for the third consecutive season with an official transfer target the following year.
Immediately after signing for City, Harrison was loaned to Championship club Middlesbrough, under newly appointed manager Tony Pulis. He made his debut for Middlesbrough on 17 February 2018, coming on in the 83rd minute of a 1–0 loss against Cardiff City. Leeds United
After taking part in Manchester City's pre-season tour of the United States, on 30 July 2018, Harrison signed for Leeds United, a Championship club, on a season-long loan. He made his debut for Leeds in the opening match of the season on 5 August, coming off the bench in a 3–1 win over his hometown club Stoke City at Elland Road. Nine days later, he made his senior debut in an EFL Cup match against Bolton Wanderers. Harrison made his league debut for Leeds on 31 August, being included in the starting line-up in place of the injured Pablo Hernández in a 0–0 draw against Middlesbrough. On 15 September, he scored his first goal for the club, an 89th-minute equalizer in a 1–1 draw against Millwall.
He scored his second goal of the season on 11 January 2019 against Derby County, the team of his former New York teammate Frank Lampard, in a 2–0 win. In his 100th professional match, Harrison scored the winning goal in a 1–0 win (his fourth goal of the 2018/19 season) against Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road, the second match of the season in which he scored the winning goal.
During Leeds United F.C.'s 2018–19 season, Harrison made 42 appearances in all competitions, scoring 4 goals. Leeds finished the regular season in third place, after being eliminated from the direct promotion places with three games remaining following defeat to Wigan Athletic on 19 April, Leeds qualified for the play-off round with Derby County, who finished sixth. Harrison started both legs and assisted Kemar Roofe's goal as Leeds won 1-0 in the first leg at Pride Park, giving the team a 1-0 lead after the first leg at Elland Road. However, Leeds lost 2-4 in the second leg in a match where Leeds were reduced to 10 men on the field after Gaetano Berardi was sent off, this defeat helped Derby win 4-3 on aggregate to progress to the final against Aston Villa.
On 1 July 2019, Harrison signed for Leeds United on a season-long loan. As part of the deal, Leeds also have the right to sign Harrison on a permanent contract at the end of the 2019-20 season. He scored on his second appearance on 4 August in Leeds' 3–1 win over Bristol City on the opening day of the season.
With two winning goals in matches against Blackburn Rovers and Reading in November 2019, as well as a goal and an assist in the same month, Harrison was nominated for the EFL Championship November Player of the Month award, but lost out to eventual winner Jarrod Bowen of Hull City. His fifth goal of the 2019–20 season came on 29 December 2019, in a 5–4 win over Birmingham City. Harrison eventually helped Leeds win promotion to the Premier League as EFL Championship champions.
On 10 August 2020, it was reported that Harrison would join Leeds for a third consecutive season on loan, this time with a view to a permanent transfer, in preparation for the club's return to the Premier League. On 2 July 2021, Leeds officially announced the official signing of Harrison on a three-year contract for a transfer fee of £11 million. He scored his first two goals of the season in a 3–0 win over Crewe Alexandra in the second round of the EFL Cup on 24 August.
On 16 January 2022, Harrison scored his first career hat-trick, helping Leeds to a 3-2 win over West Ham United in the league.
On 22 May 2022, Harrison scored the winning goal in stoppage time in a 2–1 win over Brentford at Brentford Community Stadium, helping Leeds stay in the Premier League.
On the final day of the 2022-23 season, Harrison scored but Leeds ultimately lost 1-4, a result that saw them relegated from the Premier League. On 6 April 2023, Harrison signed a new five-year contract to keep him at the club until 2028.
On 14 August 2023, Harrison returned to the Premier League, signing a season-long loan deal with Everton, beating Aston Villa to his signature. Harrison's loan deal does not include a buyout clause, but does have a release clause which Everton can activate during the loan period. Harrison made his debut for Everton in a 2–1 EFL Cup win against Aston Villa on 27 September 2023.
On 7 October, he scored his first goal for Everton in a 3–0 win over Bournemouth at Goodison Park.
On 24 June 2024, Everton announced that Harrison would return to the club on loan for the 2024–25 season.
On 1 October 2017, Harrison was called up to the England Under-21 squad for the first time after Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Sheyi Ojo were injured in matches against Scotland and Andorra. He made his debut in the match against Scotland, coming on for Tammy Abraham in the 88th minute. After that, he made one more appearance for the team.
